QUEEN BEE.

Lydia smiled widely as the man realized who she was. It always amused her
from an early age how someone changed when they noticed a Stark was in
their presence. Whether it be very slightly or monumental. And always made her
feel so much more POWERFUL than she already did. Which went to her head,
however, in the past years it has calmed down. “Don’t worry about it. I can see
you didn’t.” Lyd couldn’t help but joke as she shook his hand. She gave him a
curious look upon hearing his name, feeling she heard it before, until it clicked.
“Matt Murdock! The very one that helped put Wilson Fisk in prison, correct?”

One way or another, someone down the line made a BLIND joke around him and damn it if he wasn’t used to it by now. He made a couple himself. Joking with other individuals eased the nature of the conversation. But she had no reservations whatsoever  which could be attributed to her over-confidence and hearing a joke from her made all the difference. But made no comment. Instead, he shifted his attention to the matter concerning the one-time bane of his existence  FISK. The case he fought that brought down the Kingpin captured much more intention than predicted and certainly brought favorable attention to the firm. But taking down Fisk as Daredevilthat was rewarding. However, Lydia had meant his contribution as the lawyer Murdock.  ❛ More than you know.

Murdock let his hand fall back to his side, keeping a firm grip on the white cane with the other. So you’ve heard about the case, I take it.  In truth, he never pegged her type for the kind interested in city level court cases. To be fair, it was a public victory so Murdock couldn’t help but be proud of Nelson & Murdock. It brushed his ego — put him in a good mood.

❛ If I may ask, what brings you to Hell’s Kitchen, Miss Stark?
